The North and South Divisions lead off the second round of competition with some match-ups that’ll make a mongoose and cobra take pause.
In the North, the top-polling Broadview Bombers face the surprising Honey Badgers, the Hingham U Wagoneers battle Santa’s Sugar Crushers while Bat Attitudes, Not My Type, Can’t Dia Beat Us and The Sandlot vie for the remaining two slots in the bracket.
The South Division has its share of big-time battles as the the top two vote-getters Dugout Dawgs and Red, White and Brew go
head-to-head for naming rights while the Steel Horse Sisters rev their engines against perennial Barton tournament champ, the Barton Bolusers. The Gluebags try to dim Livin’ The Dream and Bringing Heat fires away at the Sultans of Swat.
 On Friday, the East and West brackets will be released for voting. Vegas oddsmakers have the Hulkamaniacs and Purple
Pumpers as faves, but the Gluten Mutants, Diabeaters and Weekend Wifflers finished strong at the end of first-round voting and could ride that momentum in this round.
In the West, Hannah Phelps’ overall top-polling Sick of Pricks goes up against the savvy D-Busters from Lutz, Florida while Bo and Dante Bichette’s team Wiffle Sauce collide with the formidable Tampa Bay Bashers. The Fox Sox, Fightin’ Fulds, Weekend Wifflers and Green Monsters all look to punch their ticket to the Solid Sixteen.
