Tampa Home Run Derbies Offer Chance to Go Yard Off Big Leaguers!

Have you ever dreamed of hitting a home run off a Big League pitcher? Here’s your chance!

Enter the Home Run Derby at the SLAMDiabetes Sam Fuld Classic in Tampa and take your rips at going yard off a MLB player. After Opening Ceremonies, contestants will compete in Home Run Derbies at Little Yankee and Fuld Field.

Entry donation is $10 and is open to everyone: players, fans, volunteers. Each contestant recieves 5 outs, and keeps swinging until the fifth out. Contestants are asked to swing at every pitch.

The derbies will be pitched by MLBers and kids can join in the fun of shagging fly balls. The Home Run Derby Champion will receive a bat autographed by Sam Fuld.
