SLAMT1D’S Vermont Summer Classic

ALL STAR GAME ’25!

We’ve been asking ourselves, “Would it be possible to add even more fun to the Vermont Summer Classic?” We’ve got tournament games with great matchups, exhibition games, playoffs, a Wild Card Lottery and Home Run Derby…what else could we do? Then a little birdie with red, white and brew feathers dropped a suggestion and it hit us! Heck Yeah! Let’s do an All Star Game!

Here are the details:

• Two teams: American and National
• Eleven players per team will be selected based on their performance in last year’s tournament
• One player will be selected from each of the returning teams (this year 22 teams are returning)
• Players on the All Star Game ‘25 winner will each receive 25 bonus points for their respective teams’ PowerRanking 
• The game will be played at Little Fenway on Friday night (Aug 8) immediately after tournament play
• Game will be six innings. If it is tied after six innings, the game will proceed immediately to a home run derby, with both teams receiving 4 pitches each to 4 different batters of the same team.

We’ll be contacting all returning teams for selections. All Star teams and rosters will be announced in May! Stay tuned!
