Insulin Chumps Want to be Champs

Bill Woods’ Insulin Chumps hope to become champs of the upcoming SLAMDiabetes Western Connecticut Classic WIFFLE Ball Tournament on June 7. “We got a taste of tournament play last year at Barton,” said Woods. “We couldn’t wait to get another crack at a SLAMDiabetes tournament, and we’ve got high expectations for the Western Connecticut Classic.”

Woods says his team’s been chomping at the bit since its first tournament last year. “My players couldn’t wait. They kept saying how it was the coolest fundraiser they’ve ever been to. Now we’ve got to get into the playoffs. We’ve adjusted our line-up and batting order, so we like our chances.”
